General Volunteering: Richards Memorial Library takes on teen volunteers (Ages 13-18) on an as needed basis. If you would like to be considered for volunteer hours when they come up, please email Orion (ooak@sailsinc.org), the assistant children's librarian, to introduce yourself and for more information.

Youth Advisory Council 2024-2025

The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at the Richards Memorial Library is made up of teens between the ages of 13 and 17 who love to read and share opinions and who would like to be more involved in the library. YAC teens help shape the Young Adult book collection and space, discussing and helping choose books to add to the collection, brainstorming and helping plan programs, putting up displays, etc.
YAC meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm, from October to May.
