Resources for Writers

The Library has contracted with BiblioBoard to offer a place for writers, musicians, photographers and videographers a place to publish their works that is searchable on our website and catalog.  We will be setting up training in the near future for writers. We will also contact community groups who may want to publish their histories, cookbooks and more.

The Creator Tool supports archive, genealogy and makerspace projects with the ability to load and organize content to then be displayed on BiblioBoard Library. Create and professionally formate your next book, poetry collection, short stories, novels, and any other written content in digital and print-ready formats using Pressbooks.

With the Share Tool , using  BiblioBoard indie author services, local authors can share their eBook with their library and community to gain even more exposure. Authors will have their book showcased in the Indie Massachusetts collection while retaining all rights to their work.
The Richards Library Library will be able to set up Custom Submission pages to grow your Community Collections where patrons can easily share their music, video, photography, art or any other form of content.

The final piece is the BiblioBoard Library. In BiblioBoard Library, patrons have instant and unlimited access to local, self-published books, and thousands of other titles. With Geolocation Access residents have instant access to BiblioBoard Library, no login required!
