2026-2027 Youth Advisory Council
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at the Richards Memorial Library is made up of teens between the ages of 13 and 17 who love to read and share opinions and who would like to be more involved in the library. YAC teens help shape the Young Adult book collection and space, discussing and helping choose books to add to the collection, brainstorming and helping plan programs like Trivia Night, Bingo, and more! YAC runs during the school year from October to May. As a member of YAC students are guaranteed the opportunity to complete their 10 hour community service requirement, as well as opportunities for more hours.
