Downtown Associates of North Attleborough is holding its Strawberry Festival/ Welcome to Summer Downtown on Saturday, June 15, from 10 to 2 pm. This event falls on the day after Flag Day and has a patriotic theme starting off with a parade entitled "Bicycles, Tricycles, Wagons and Wheels" traveling through the park. See a performance by local cheerleaders and Rebecca Jennings, Director of Veterans Affairs, will share a special book with the kids. Vendors and crafters of all types will be set up in Veterans' Park. And, DANA's famous Strawberry Shortcake is sure to sell out!! This is the same day as the Library's 125th Anniversary ceremony at the Library at 1:15 so you can walk up to see that as well.
